Duradek Vinyl
Deck Installation
Duradek vinyl membrane installation for decks, balconies and rooftop patios across London and Southwestern Ontario.
A waterproof vinyl deck membrane and finished surface
Most decks need two things fighting for the same space: a surface you can walk on and a layer that keeps water out. Duradek does both. Its vinyl (PVC) sheet serves as the finished walking surface and the waterproofing layer, with no boards hiding the membrane underneath.
We install Duradek on decks, balconies and rooftop patios across London and Southwestern Ontario. Waterproof membranes are our specialty, and a walkable deck membrane requires the same careful seams and flashing details as a flat roof.

Duradek FAQs
What exactly is Duradek?
A vinyl (PVC) sheet membrane that serves as both the finished walking surface and the waterproofing layer on decks, balconies and rooftop patios.
Can it go over a living space?
Yes, that’s a common use. It waterproofs rooftop patios and balconies over rooms below while giving you a finished surface to walk on.
How is it different from deck coatings?
Duradek is a sheet membrane, not a liquid coating. It arrives as a manufactured vinyl sheet and is installed with sealed seams and proper flashings.
Is Duradek warrantied?
Yes. Our installation work is covered by our written workmanship guarantee.
